Dots History

Dots History

Dot and Noel Fraser were both professional working musicians when they decided to open their own music shop in 1987. Noel was a trombonist and Dot a French horn player, as well as music teacher.  They created Dots the Camden Music Shop from scratch from what used to be the administrative offices of the Camden Garden Center.  In fact, the mural for the Garden Center is still on the side of the building.

Over the years they earned the reputation for providing consistently high calibre services and products to their customers and Dots soon became a local institution. For the next twenty years they built a much loved music store with an impressive collection of sheet music.

They retired in July 2017 and passed their legacy on to the new owner Madi Weland Solomon.
